The Spinal Cord Injury Association of Connecticut is delighted to share in the celebration of National Nurses Week. The education and care delivered by nurses and nursing assistants helps many of our Chapter members continue to live healthy lives after their spinal cord injury or disorder diagnosis.
National Nurses Week is a time for everyone – individuals, employers, other health care professionals, community leaders, and nurses – to recognize the vast contributions and positive impact of America’s 4+ million nurses. Each year, the celebration ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday.
A short video produced by a local company in honor of nurses everywhere but inspired by local nurses, can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXXnBv2H7S8&feature=youtu.be
Thank you to all of the nurses across the globe that provide care and support to those in need.
With the deepest gratitude,
Spinal Cord Injury Association of Connecticut
