A generous donation from Hollister to United Spinal Association and its affiliates allowed the Connecticut Spinal Cord Injury Association to distribute two different brands of catheters to local recipients, free of charge.
This program is part of Untied Spinal's Urology Coalition, whose mission is is to counter restricted consumer access to medical supplies under Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance.
The two brands are:
VaPro Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter
The VaPro Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter is the only prehydrated and ready to use hydrophilic catheter with protective tip and sleeve. Easy open package. Latex-fee.
Apogee Intermittent Catheter
Non-lubricated intermittent catheter features smooth eyelets designed for comfort. Latex-free.
We wish to extend our thanks to Hollister and United Spinal for allowing us to the oportunity to serve our local community and provide people with disabilities with their choice of, and access to, the prescribed and medically appropriate urological medical technology and supplies that might otherwise be restricted to them.
