The Third Annual Wheeling and Able Shelton Riverwalk Wheel/Walk for Fitness was held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 10AM in Shelton, CT. This year the event was co-sponsored by the CT Chapter of NSCIA and Moving With HOPE, Inc.
The Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization was proud to partner with "Wheeling and Able Shelton River Wheel/Walk for Fitness, Promoting Health and Fitness for Everyone." During the event, Miss Connecticut''s Outstanding Teen, Jaine Coann Lefebvre, along with several local titleholders, were integrally involved in the walk: recruiting participants, counting laps, helping with raffle, signing autographs and spreading words of encouragement to the participants. One of the founding principles on which the Miss America Organization is based is service, and our young women are excited to be a part of this meaningful event while helping to spread the message of promoting health and fitness for everyone.
